Requests for Travel Medication Policy

In accordance with guidance from the British Medical Association BMA , the NHS will provide medication for patients who are travelling or moving abroad for a period of up to three months.

If a patient is planning to be away for more than three months, they will need to make their own arrangements to obtain medication in the country they are visiting.

Prescriptions will not be issued by the The Wall House Surgery as per the guidence above for extended stays abroad beyond this three-month period.
